That sounds good. I have tried to find pictures on how it looks around that area where the choke cable ends at the carbs but no luck.
I hope it is as easy you say. :D

Re: Distorted Carb Inlet and Metal Choke Replacement

As it's on the airbox side it wont cause any great problem i can tell. The only thing is you could get some unfiltered air through there but i think it's of no importance and on the other hand it may not leak in any air at all.

Re: Key tumbler

It's pretty obvious to me whats wrong there, one of the brass pieces is bent out of the shape. Either you bend it back or try to make a new one, that should solve any problem with the lock i think.

Re: Wire harness repairs

Ok i see, that is not a part of the harness though but if you need to repair that so ok. Try to get the connector that is used originally. I have seen those but cant remember what site that have them. I wonder if anyone else can help in where to get those connectors? :?: If you got more quest...

Re: Wire harness repairs

That dont sound as stock harness at all as the harness is connected to the regulator/rectifier and that is connected to the stator with at least one connector, hmm. Well, my tip is to get rid of all unnecessary connections though as to much of them can cause to much resistance. 8)

Re: Wire harness repairs

Electrical system as a harness is not so difficult to understand though but the more connections the more recistance. There is the silicon rectifier though that i know is connected to the function so you cant start the engine with a gear engaged without having the clutch engaged. A safety fea...

Re: Wire harness repairs

Well anything is repairable but more connections means more resistance and hence voltage drops, so to me the easiest soulutions is in fact to replace it all. But by all means repairing it is also a solution. I can assist with the length and color of all cables if you want to build your...

To me it dont look good at all as there can be all kind of problem with that wire harness.
Myself i had charging problems and when i replaced my harness the problem was gone.

Re: Blade Fuse Upgrade

As far as i know there is no ground, The black you talk about is the main electrical wire that feed all fuses. I have changed the fusebox myself to accomodate those kind of fuses and i soldered fastons on every wire. So dont change the layout, only solder it so it's like you see it on the old fusebo...
